Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies with Sugar Glaze

These are the most UNHEALTHIEST THINGS IN THE WORLD! But they are SO addicting.  They have so many cups of sugar and my mom does NOT want me making them. But I only make them when my sister in laws are at my house, which isn't very often.

I made them about 2 inches in width and length.

THE COOKIES ARE DONE!!!!!....almost......

This is the yummy sugar glaze that you put on the cookies.

You could put this much on it. or may be a little more. Using this much we had left over frosting.

Let them sit for about 3 min and enjoy!!!!!!!! Below is the recipe
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup shortening
-1 cup pumpkin
-1 cup sugar
-1 teaspoon baking soda
-1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg mixed well
-2 cups flour
-1 teaspoon cinnamon
-1 cup of raisins or chocolate chips(optional)( chocolate chips are better!!!! always!!!!)
FROSTING:
-3 tablespoons butter
-1/2 cup brown sugar
-1 cup of powdered sugar( see what i mean about having a lot of sugar?!!!!!!)
-4 teaspoons milk
-3/4 teaspoons vanilla
INSTRUCTIONS:
preheat oven to 350. mix in a mixer( like something you would use to make cookies), shortening, pumpkin, sugar, baking soda, and salt. After you have mixed this well, add, well mixed egg, flour, cinnamon, raisin or chocolate chips( drop by spoonful)....
make dough balls into about 2 inches in length and width. then bake for 9-12 min.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR FROSTING:
while cookies are baking, mix every frosting ingredient and when cookies are done of course put on the glaze. and enjoy!!!!!!!!
RAW COOKIE DOUGH LOVERS...DO NOT ATTEMPT TO EAT THE RAW COOKIE DOUGH. IT IS NASTY!!!!THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT THE COOKIES ARE BAD.
